Our Ministry

Ministries in General  

Through its field missionaries, Pioneer Missions is involved in a variety of ministries in countries throughout the world.  These ministries are carried out in partnership with national churches, associations, state and national conventions.  As these ministry opportunities arise, whether training, social ministries, evangelistic projects, or chapel construction, we are always linked to providing assistance to the local church and the brethren in that location.

The program of Pioneer Missions is directed by the members of a Board of Directors who are actively involved in mission efforts and are contributing their leadership, resources, and time to facilitate the mission of the organization.

The approach of Pioneer Missions inverts the traditional mission model by empowering the missionaries closest to the work to direct the work. The rest of the organization exists to complement and facilitate the work of these local leaders while holding them accountable.
